“We begin today’s bulletin with news on comedian Kapil Sharma. While the first few episodes of the Kapil Sharma Show haven’t managed to click with the audience, the teaser of the upcoming episode promises an entertaining affair. It will feature Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and the team of Vikram Vedha.
The video opens with Kapil saying how Saif’s recent films had him chasing someone. Lauding his skills, the comedian asks whether he catches ‘murgi’ or hens at his farmhouse.
As everyone starts laughing at the statement, Saif Ali Khan says, “I have kept a cock for the same”. His reply leaves Kapil Sharma in splits.

“Meanwhile, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 is all set to get its first crorepati in Kolhapur’s Kavita Chawla. Host Amitabh Bachchan is impressed with her game as she sits across from him on the hot seat. Interestingly, it has been a long wait for the homemaker as she has been dreaming of being on the show ever since it launched in 2000. This time, Kavita says that she came with a mission to be a crorepati and her wish was fulfilled.
She told indianexpress.com, “This is one show where your knowledge is celebrated and you gain so much respect. I decided to come back, this time with the mission to win,”

“In some exciting news, Game of Thrones alum John Bradley is set to headline North Shore, a crime thriller series set up at the streaming service Paramount+. Joanne Froggatt, best known for Downton Abbey, is also part of the project which hails from Cold Feet creator Mike Bullen.
According to the entertainment website Deadline, the first season of the Australian original North Shore will consist of six episodes. Gregor Jordan will direct the show.
Set on and around Sydney Harbour, the series follows the clash of cultures when British and Australian detectives team to solve a complex murder mystery, and uncover a conspiracy with international political consequences. Production on “North Shore” is expected to begin mid-October in Sydney.”
“In other news, the director of Netflix’s huge hit series Squid Game was in a dilemma over whether and how to revive dead characters as he prepared for a second season after making history at the Emmys last week.
Squid Game became Netflix Inc’s (NFLX.O) most-watched series ever after its release last September. The nine-episode survival drama offers a fable of a deeply unequal capitalist society, with cash-strapped contestants playing childhood games for a chance at life-changing sums of money.
The new season will be shot next year and released in 2024. He told a joint news conference in Seoul, “I want to revive Ji-young, but her best friend Sae-byeok also died, so I’m thinking about what to do”. ”
“Next up, Apple TV+ has revealed the first trailer of its most-anticipated drama series Shantaram, headlined by actor Charlie Hunnam. Based on the internationally bestselling novel by Gregory David Roberts, the 12-episodic Apple Original series will start streaming globally on October 14. With the first three episodes coming out on October 14, the makers will release one episode every Friday. The season finale will premiere on December 16.
The two minutes long trailer opens with the introduction of Hunnam as Lin Ford, a convict who tries to escape to Bombay. He addresses Bombay as a “place where everyone started new.” Upon reaching Bombay, he comes to the aid of the underprivileged and thus begins his journey of redemption.

“In some tragic news, actor Nishi Singh, who appeared in shows such as Ishqbaaaz, Qubool Hai and Tenali Rama, passed away on Sunday at the age of 50. She suffered three strokes of paralysis in the last few years and was battling the resulting health woes. She is survived by her husband, writer-actor Sanjay Singh Bhadli, and their two children. The family is also facing financial issues and had earlier requested monetary help to pay Nishi’s medical bills.
Talking to the Times of India, her husband said that Nishi passed away around 3 pm. He said, “The biggest irony is that we celebrated her 50th birthday the day before yesterday (September 16),” adding that she looked very happy.”
“Ali Asgar became the first contestant to get eliminated from the season. Recently, the comedian was evicted after he got the least votes from the audience. Sources told indianexpress.com that the actor may be brought back to the show at a later date, as a wild card.
While Ali Asgar entered the show in his ‘dadi’ avatar from Comedy Nights with Kapil, he performed as himself this week.

“Meanwhile, after making a smashing OTT debut with Aarya that earned her an International Emmy Award nomination, and then delivering an impressive second season last year, former Miss Universe and actor Sushmita Sen is all set to start shooting her next web series.
Sushmita recently took to her social media handles to post an update on her new project and shared that her “life has been crazy busy”. The actor shared a picture of herself from her recent Sardinia vacation and wrote, “Sun Set…Sen Rise!!! Life has been crazy busy…getting ready to shoot a brand new Web Series…one that has my heart!! I miss you guys & love you beyond!!!”

“Lastly, Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover has posted a selfie with popular actor and comedian Sunil Grover. More than the selfie, it was Ashneer’s caption which got the attention of their fans.
Ashneer wrote,” Two of the most entertaining ‘Grovers’ ever on TV ?! @whosunilgrover”. The businessman got interesting responses from his followers, with some of them suggesting more entertaining captions in the comments section.
One user wrote, “When Grover Mets Grover”. Another user made a reference to Ashneer’s stern demeanour on Shark Tank India, and wrote, “Brother what are you doing. How can you smile.” Interestingly, many followers quoted Ashneer’s famous line from Shark Tank India, and wrote, “These are all double standards.””
