BJP has rolled out a ‘Poll Khol’ agitation claiming it will expose corruption in the BMC… that’s run by Shiv Sena. On Sunday, a screen-mounted mobile van showing speeches of BJP MLAs on the alleged corruption in BMC drove through different localities. It kick-started the party’s ‘Poll Khol’ campaign ahead of the high-stakes BMC elections. BJP workers have been asked to go door-to-door, explaining the corruption in BMC that is resulting in poor quality of life for Mumbaikars. The ‘Poll Khol’ campaign, that will see the van travel across the city, was launched in a bylane near Patra chawl in ward 58, Goregaon West. BJP has accused Shiv Sena of Rs 3 lakh crore corruption in the last 25 years, but is silent on its alliance with Shiv Sena in this period.
